I'd Like to salute the men and women that graduate from the 12 Week Physique Program.  Their's is truely a road less travelled.  The dedication required to completely reinvent yourself in 12 weeks or less deserves respect.  Each and every person who makes it to Graduation Day is an inspiration to all, especially me.  So this is MY tribute to YOU.  Just to let you know, I know what it takes to make a change as big as you've made, and to solidify how real your accomplishment truely is!!

In the before picture you see here it had been a few months since I separated the AC in my right shoulder whilst performing a take-down on my opponent during an intense sparring session at Matt Hughes H.I.T Squad over in Granite City, USA.  I'd been back training heavy but low volume, strength over size.

This actually represents what my physique looks like most of the time as my training is very abbreviated and focused on relative strength and power, not size.  It's also a very accurate representation of what my physique would've looked like 4 weeks before this "after" picture.

But while remaining naturally lean, explosive and strong comes easy to me, sheer muscular size and bulk was never a goal of mine in training and my natural shape could not be described as having those tendencies.

However, having several clients, friends and peers challenge me to “practice what I preach” I decided to train using size as a goal as opposed to strength, and aim to make as big a change as possible in only 4 weeks. 

Both these pictures were taken in Centaur.  You can notice several things from these two pictures:

The quality of picture is better in the second than it is in the first, the lighting is better, the photographer, Ralf McTeggert, is better.

Regardless of the photo quality, it is clear for all to see that a dramatic difference in muscular size and defination has occurred.  My muscles are significantly thicker everywhere, and my waist is tighter and more detailed plus my chest is striated in the second picture but not the first.

Both pictures are very clear.  I'm not trying to “look bad” in the before picture, I'm not pushing my belly out after drinking 2 gallons of water or relaxing my muscles, in fact i'm flexing for all I'm worth in both pictures, in the exact same pose from the exact same distance and angle.

If you look at the head's and hand's of both pictures you'll see they are to scale.


This diffterence isn't down to camera trickery or clever lighting, this transformation was earned in the gym and the kitchen, not from a last minute quick fix.  You can't fake this kind of change, you can only get there through effective training.  These are the kinds of result's the 12 Week Physique Program is knocking out left and right.  Will you be the next one to see for yourself? 

I've kept the result's of this “Unofficial” 4 week transformation under wraps for about 2 years but have been recently convinced (after much resistance) to finally put these up, not to boast, but to inspire, hopefully, and to prove that I do, occasionally, practice what I preach.

Nice article Paul.

We see the living proof of your results every day in the gym Paul but still, it's nice to see that you are not the typical 'do as I say and not as I do' type of trainer.

You're definitely the best out there. Pleasure knowing you.
