Chris “The Mutant” Murtagh – How to train 1 month a year and improve!!!

Those that follow the 12 Week Physique transformations will remember the first (and only) 4 week transformation Chris Murtagh.

What Chris achieved in one month couldn't be done in 5 years by most people.  Even though a lot of credit has to go to the 12 Week Physique program for his first 4 weeks, the fact that Chris is a genetic freak of nature can't be overlooked.

 

After Chris's first 4 weeks he went to work over seas and Centaur didn't see him for exactly one year.  Then he came back to visit for 4 weeks and the result's of his stay are depicted above.

This time around Chris focused on a more strength intensive approach on weighted chins, weighted dips, kettlebell see saw presses and a small group of other big compounds.

He didn't even bother to diet this time around and we think he looks just as lean as before and even bigger than ever!!

His strength ended up on 50kg added to himself in the chin-up for 5x5 and 60kg added in dips for 6x6!!

You'd expect someone as unique as Chris to be training towards something outstanding in the world of strength or physique??  Not so, instead Chris informed us that he wants to stop lifting weights because “all this weights business is making me too big and I don't like it”.

We think Chris has ENORMOUS potential for bodybuilding and should reconsider his decision, if you agree with us leave a comment below.
